So here are what I’ve gathered so far regarding the importance of a good night's sleep:
Improved Performance – Studies have shown that simply losing 2-3 hours of a night-time sleep impairs our bodily functions and decision making skills. So basically, a person that gets close to 8 hours of sleep per day on average gets the highest productivity output in their lives both at work and at home.
Healthy heart and mind – Numerous research shows that sleep is vital in improving your memory as well as your ability to learn new skills. Also, sleep is linked to the repair and healing of your arteries and blood vessels which in turn, promotes a healthier heart.
